勘探创造力的增强需要体制创新

建立一个与市场经济相适应的,对创造性劳动受到尊重、支持、鼓励的创新体制,是实现创造力持续增长的关键。为此就要在干部制度、分配奖励制度和资金管理制度上深入改革,进行制度创新,为培养造就综合素质强的复合型人才,使创造性工作能获得持久的动力与激励提供条件和保证。     

Design Errors: Inefficiency or Carelessness of Designer?

Design defects are experienced in many projects; the difference is only in the extent of occurrence. This technical note discusses a design error case in a building project in Nepal, where the designer made the wrong assumptions in roof treatment work for waterproofing as well as for heat insulation purposes. From the investigation of the problem, it was found that the waterproofing polymer was not applied directly over concrete slab top. Use of heavy concrete block as a heat insulation material also helped to increase the leakage problem. The problem evoked loss of prestige for project officials, the design consortium, and the contractor.     

The general applicability of a scale for rating research productivity.

"The RBD III, a forced-choice rating form to provide scores indicative of a person's productive research behavior in physical science research settings, was administered in a setting other than the one in which it was developed." 50 Ss were selected at random from 168 research engineers. Supervisory judgments of a person's creativity activity indicated its validity. Personality characteristics of engineers as measured by the Edwards Personal Preference Schedule.

What are the personality characteristics of people who are doing well in engineering? "The average personality (PPS) profile of 81 experienced engineers and that of the 750 male liberal arts students in Edwards' norm group were found to be significantly different by an analysis of variance technique." The age decrement in outstanding scientific contributions: Fact or artifact?

Lehman in Age and Achievement provides data in the form of works cited in histories of art, science, and other fields and finds that they "very frequently indicate that many fewer significant contributions are made in the later decades of life than in earlier periods… . Taken at their face value, these studies indicate a drastic reduction in the output of outstanding works in the later part of the life span." But the "apparent decline in the output of significant works in the later decades of life may be merely a reflection of the behavior of historians and others with regard to their treatment of historical epochs. The present paper addresses itself to the examination of citation practices of historians and anthologists as they are related to the study of aging… . A more reasonable interpretation of the facts seems to be that, as the total output of science has increased, the percentage of literature cited by historians has declined." When Software Engineers Met Research Scientists: A Case Study

This paper describes a case study of software engineers developing a library of software components for a group of research scientists, using a traditional, staged, document-led methodology. The case study reveals two problems with the use of the methodology. The first is that it demands an upfront articulation of requirements, whereas the scientists had experience, and hence expectations, of emergent requirements; the second is that the project documentation does not suffice to construct a shared understanding. Reflecting on our case study, we discuss whether combining agile elements with a traditional methodology might have alleviated these problems. We then argue that the rich picture painted by the case study, and the reflections on methodology that it inspires, has a relevance that reaches beyond the original context of the study.     

我国商业银行业绩评价

运用因子分析法分析比较了我国各类型商业银行的经营业绩．与以往分析不同的是，本文在分析过程中综合考虑了银行赢利能力、发展前景与风险等诸方面因素，对银行业绩的相对优劣给出客观全面的评价．为我国商业银行整体业绩的提升给出了策略建议．     

关于技术创新型人才培养模式的探索与实践

针对我国传统的教育模式以及现有的创新教育中的一些普遍观点,提出了关于创新人才培养的几点新见解。结合教改实践,在课程体系和教学形式改革、创立校企联合培养机制以及高水平创新教育师资队伍的培养等几方面阐述看法。进行技术创新型人才培养虽然道路曲折,但是终将取得成功。     

《热力设备腐蚀与防护》课程教学的思考

应用化学专业是我校实施＂卓越工程师培养计划＂的重点建设专业之一。而《热力设备腐蚀与防护》是应用化学专业的重要专业必修课程。根据＂卓越工程师培养计划＂的基本要求,本文就如何加强师资队伍的人才培养和建设,改进教学内容、教学方法和加快理论教材与实验教材的建设等方面提出思考和建议。     

面向卓越工程师培养的微生物学实验教学改革探索与实践

为了推进卓越工程师教育培养计划在具体教学环节中的实施,分析了微生物学实验课程在生物工程专业卓越工程师培养中的地位与作用,提出了卓越工程师培养计划背景下该课程教学改革的思路,系统地研究了微生物学实验课程教学内容、教学模式、教学方法和手段、成绩考核方式的改革,构建了具有工程特色的微生物学实验教学体系,使学生在具备工程技术知识的基础上,获得工程师的基本训练,提高创新能力,培养满足社会需要的卓越工程师。
